ESPASOL (NAGCARLAN, LAGUNA)

     Espasol is a cylinder-shaped Filipino rice cake. Originating from the province of Laguna, it is traditionally sold during the Christmas season. It is made from rice flour cooked in coconut milk and sweetened coconut strips and, afterwards, dusted with toasted rice flour.

BUKO PIE (LOS BAÑOS,LAGUNA)

     Buko pie, sometimes anglicized as coconut pie, is a traditional Filipino baked young coconut (malauhog) custard pie. It is considered a specialty in the city of Los Baños, Laguna located on the island of Luzon. Buko pie is made with young coconuts (buko in Tagalog), and uses sweetened condensed milk, which makes it denser than cream-based custard pies. There are also variations of the pie, which are similar but use slightly different ingredients, such as macapuno pie, that uses macapuno, special type of coconut that is thick and sticky

     Puto Binan is a most common delicacies here in the Philippines, it has many variation of taste, looks, and shape, and it is depend on its class, some Puto are small, some of them are big. But it depends on how it is made is the important thing. One thing that Puto have in common is that they are all made of rice that grinded in different ways, that is why it has a lot of variation.
